Important Update for Company Directors

From 18 November, new identity verification requirements will begin rolling out for company directors as part of the government's efforts to increase transparency and tackle fraudulent activity in UK companies.

What this means for you:

• You’ll be required to confirm your identity before you can act as a director.

• Companies House will provide several verification options, including direct verification and through an authorised agent.

• Unverified individuals won’t be able to set up or manage companies.
